Orthodontics Practice Interior and MEP Design
We provided Interior Design and MEP Engineering for a private orthodontic practice located on Commercial Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, Benedetti Orthodontics. This project fuses an ultra-modern design style with soft blends of color to add warmth and depth. Predominantly white floors, walls, and ceilings lend a clean, clinical feel to the space, tying in the orthodontics interior design concept of contemporary design with the use of state-of-the-art medical devices typically used in orthodontic practices. The design intent is to maintain the sleek architectural lines of the space conforming to a dental practice while introducing an element of softness through muted tones of greys, greens, and browns.
Practice Lobby Design
The orthodontics interior design vision for the lobby was to create a bright and inviting space that welcomed clients, ensuring they are comfortably seated while waiting for their appointments. Large expanses of glass windows providing natural light coupled with white walls and light wood paneling contribute to the openness of the lobby space. Cushioned banks of chairs in neutral green, strategically placed against the walls, provide comfortable seating and allow for easy movement, while the round-table seating offers flexibility when accommodating a larger number of clients. The stylish, modern design statement of the reception lobby is further enhanced by large industrial pendant lights suspended from exposed white ceilings.
Office Interior Spaces Design
Fluidity of design is experienced through the interior spaces of the office by utilizing the same colors and materials as used in the reception area. Polished concrete and wood floors are a recurring theme throughout the office space as are the hanging pendant fixtures. Clear story windows located high above the space, combined with walled partitions held short of the ceiling, enable natural light to penetrate the interior spaces, mirroring the bright, airy feel of the reception lobby.
Consulting Spaces Design
Frosted glass panels atop low partition walls separate the consulting spaces in the open bay area. Unexpected splashes of turquoise color on the walls provide an element of surprise and offset the sober colors of the walls and furniture. Light wood beams above the bays, give the perception of a lowered ceiling helping to maintain the architectural proportions of the long, connecting corridor.
The bright turquoise color and linear pattern of the artwork in the consulting bays is cleverly mirrored in the tiled backsplash above the quartz countertops. Seamless white cabinets provide a neat storage solution for equipment and supplies, helping to keep the space organized, clean and clutter-free.
Color, material and repetition of design elements are artfully used in this orthodontics interior design to create a homogenous space that is both functional as well as visually stimulating for the end users.
