MEP and Structural Design and Engineering for Multi-Family Remodeling in Brooklyn, NY
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This project involved MEP and Structural design and engineering for Residential Tenant Improvement & Remodeling of an old existing multifamily building of 13,000 Sq. ft to a modernly converted residence of affordable housing.
Location: Myrtle Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11206 NY, USA
Because of the outdated design and marginal quality of some building parts, vigilant and professional planning was needed to ensure professional outcomes and project success.
ROLE:
Before starting the design activity, InnoDez engaged in a hands-on field study of the current conditions of the location. Based on the field studies, our team specified the bases of the design approach for the most feasible yet reliable approach. Then
we completed Structural analysis and design calculations along with MEP plan set and configurations.
RESIDENTIAL TENANT IMPROVEMENT & REMODELING – CHALLENGES:
The main challenge encountered in this project was mitigating the conflicts of new building material and design requirements and the existing site conditions which were taken care of successfully comprehensive solution and supervision of InnoDez design team.
